Why we exist
Cash leaves organisations quietly — a reimbursement here, a branch float top-up there, a supplier settlement rushed before month-end. Appdatasphere was formed in Hong Kong to give finance leaders an independent reading of those exits, with fieldwork that respects local banking practice and the pace of Admiralty-based head offices.
Origin
The practice grew from repeated statutory-audit side notes about thin disbursement evidence. Rather than absorb that work into a broad accounting firm, we built a focused engagement model: define the cash channels, test them, and hand back a schedule boards can act on.
Working approach
We prefer short scoping conversations, clear document lists, and fieldwork calendars that do not surprise custodians without cause — except where a surprise till count is part of the agreed plan. Findings are cleared in draft with your nominated contact before the final pack is issued.
